CIDB sees slower growth in construction this year

KUALA LUMPUR: The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) expects year-on-year growth in the construction sector to be lower in 2015 as projects start tapering off under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP),

CIDB corporate and business sector senior general manager Sariah Abdul Karib said the construction sector was expected to grow 10.3% this year, compared with 11.8% in 2014. She said the construction sector had been achieving double-digit growth since 2012.
