PETALING JAYA: Corporate earnings have yet to show signs of picking up, but investors are banking on a few bright spots in what otherwise had been a weak first quarter for companies on Bursa Malaysia.
MIDF Research said 10 out of the 30 companies that make up the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KL Composite Index (FBM KLCI) failed to deliver in the latest quarterly results season.
