Genting gains on weaker ringgit

PETALING JAYA: Earnings of Genting Bhd’s gaming, leisure and hospitality businesses dropped across the board in most of the countries it operates, except the United States and Bahamas.

The operations in Singapore, Malaysia and the United Kingdom registered lower numbers in the first quarter ended March 31, 2015 compared with last year. However, Genting group gained from the depreciation of the ringgit against other currencies.
