NEW rules on foreign ownership of Indonesian banks have stirred interest among local banks that want a piece of the industry there.
A source familiar with the matter says Indonesian authorities will give foreign investors leeway in the ownership of banks should they help consolidate the fragmented banking industry in the republic.
