Progress in the 10th Malaysia Plan


DURING the 10th Plan, initiatives to address the educational needs of children in the bottom 40% household income group (B40) include the implementation of 1Asrama and Asrama Desa programmes, which reduced student dropouts from 47,260 in 2010 to 43,428 in 2013.

As of 2014, 1.51 million students benefited from the financial aid include Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pelajar Miskin and Rancangan Makanan Tambahan.
