Jamaludin: ‘There are many positive signs.’

PETALING JAYA: Axiata Group Bhd, which has business presence in eight Asian countries, said currency fluctuations and high network costs at home and in Indonesia had contributed to the drop in profits during the first quarter.

The telecommunications player’s net profit in the three months ended March 31, 2015 fell 13% to RM584.8mil from RM674.9mil in the same quarter last year, it said in a filling with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
