D&B sees growth at 4.8%, survey shows signs of muted business confidence


PETALING JAYA: Research firm Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) expects Malaysia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth to be at 4.8% this year and is cautiously optimistic of the level of business confidence in the country for the year.

In releasing its first quarterly Business Optimism Index (BOI) for Asean, D&B (London) senior economist Oana Aristide told StarBiz that on the whole, she expected business confidence in Malaysia to remain cautiously optimistic for the rest of the year.
