Public Bank first-quarter profit rises 15% on strong loan growth


Teh says the bank had a headstart in achieving its 2015 targets.

PETALING JAYA: Public Bank Bhd recorded a 15.2% increase in net profit to RM1.17bil for its first quarter ended March 31 on the back of strong loan growth.

Revenue came in 16.51% higher at RM4.6bil, while earnings per share increased to 30.34 sen from 29.04 sen previously.
