Petronas’ new appointments


KUALA LUMPUR, 16 April -- Petronas melantik Md Arif Mahmood sebagai Naib Presiden Eksekutif dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perniagaan Hiliran, menggantikan Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, berkuat kuasa, Khamis.Md Arif sebelum ini berkhidmat sebagai Naib Presiden Kanan, Strategi Korporat & Risiko.Beliau menyertai Petronas pada 1984 sebagai jurutera pelatih dan memegang pelbagai jawatan pengurusan kanan di Petronas, termasuk di Engen Petroleum, Unit Perancangan Korporat, Petronas Gas, Petronas Dagangan, dan ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer.Md Arif pernah berkhidmat sebagai Naib Presiden Perniagaan Minyak.--fotoBERNAMA (2015) HAKCIPTA TERPELIHARA

PETALING JAYA: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has appointed Md Arif Mahmood (pic) as executive vice-president and chief executive officer of its downstream business effective since yesterday, giving the former head of corporate strategy and risk, a seat on the oil giant’s powerful executive committee.

Md Arif takes over the post previously held by Datuk Wan Zulkiflee, who is Petronas president and group CEO since April 1.
