Boost for Malaysian oil and gas stocks


PETALING JAYA: Oil and gas (O&G) related stocks peppered Bursa Malaysia’s gainers’ list as crude oil prices firmed up following predictions of falling production and fresh news of tensions in the oil-producing Middle-East region.

Among the gainers were Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd, Bumi Armada Bhd, KNM Group Bhd and SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd, which were up four sen, 14 sen, 4.5 sen and 20 sen to reach 57.5 sen, RM1.20, 68 sen and RM2.60, respectively.
