UMW O&G takes Frontier to court

PETALING JAYA: In a sign of the difficult times in the industry, oil driller UMW Oil & Gas (UMWOG) has taken legal action to seek compensation for alleged breach of contract by a party that had contracted its services but allegedly failed to execute them.

UMWOG had said last week that it was taking Philippines-based Frontier to court in relation to the deployment of Naga 7 and was seeking to claim all costs and damages related to it.
