Malaysia Feb factory output up 5.2%, more than forecast


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's industrial production in February rose 5.2% from a year earlier, above expectations, data from the Statistics Department showed on Friday. 

A Reuters poll had forecast factory output would grow 4.7%, as demand from China continues to slump while exports to Europe and Japan remain weak.
