MISC shares close to all-time high on prospects for nuclear power pact


PETALING JAYA: MISC Bhd shares have peaked close to its all-time high on hopes that the shipping company will benefit from an anticipated increase in demand for energy transport, assuming a nuclear deal between Iran and Western powers can be struck.

The stock climbed 38 sen, or 4.4%, yesterday to RM8.98. It chalked an all-time high of RM9.652 on Sept 28, 2007.
