Maybank liquidity ratio at robust level

At Maybank

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) says it does not need to undertake any form of fund-raising to meet the 60% liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), a requirement by Bank Negara for all financial institutions, because it is already in a comfortable position.

“We are well above the requirement set by Bank Negara, so we don’t need (extra) funding,” said group CEO Datuk Abdul Farid Alias.
