PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has secured more than 50% acceptance for its takeover offer of port operator Integrax Bhd, effectively gaining control of the company in a corporate battle that had lasted close to three months.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, TNB announced that it had secured 50.83% in Integrax, making its offer unconditional. The utility giant also extended the closing date for the acceptance of the offer by two more weeks to April 13.
