SILK Holdings narrows second-quarter net loss


SILK Holdings’ highway division recorded an average daily traffic volume of over 213,000 vehicles during the first quarter.

Petaling Jaya: Highway concession holder SILK Holdings Bhd posted a lower net loss of RM4.7mil for its second quarter ended Jan 31, 2015, compared with RM7.3mil a year earlier on the back of higher revenue.

The company, which is also involved in the oil and gas (O&G) sector, reported an increase in revenue to RM103.5mil versus RM85mil in the corresponding quarter of 2014.
