Petronas Dagangan to use new dispenser to refuel narrow-body planes

LANGKAWI: Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) will use a low profile, low flow rate (LPLFR) dispenser to refuel narrow-body aircraft at the KL International Airport (KLIA) from next month, a move which will save the company up to 30% on capital investment.

PDB managing director and chief executive officer Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus said that the cost to develop a LPLFR was RM1mil, compared with RM1.5mil required to produce a conventional unit.
