SC exempts MRCB from undertaking MGO for QCT

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) has been exempted from undertaking a mandatory general offer (MGO) for all the remaining shares it does not own in Quill Capita Trust (QCT).

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MRCB said the group was granted a waiver from undertaking the MGO by the Securities Commission, via a letter, from the disposal of its Platinum Sentral to QCT for RM740mil.
