Sunway unit submits IPO application


KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SCG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway Bhd, has submitted an application to be listed on the main market of Bursa Securities, Sunway said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The initial public offering (IPO) will involve the distribution of at least 155.19 million shares, as well as, offer for sale of up to 415.94 million shares. The sale is expected to raise up to RM712.32mil in proceeds for the parent company. — Bernama
