RM98bil in fund-raising seen

KUALA LUMPUR: Fund-raising in the Malaysian capital market is expected to grow at a steady pace this year, with around RM95bil to RM98bil likely to be raised through private debt securities (PDS) and initial public offerings (IPO), said the Securities Commission (SC).

This would represent a growth of around 3% to 6% from the RM91.9bil of total capital raised in 2014, which was the third consecutive year of capital-raising exceeding the RM90bil mark.
