FGV confirms talks with Felda

KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd group president and chief executive officer Felda Global Venture (FGV) president and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah has confirmed that the group is in discussion with Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) to “stabilise” its land lease agreement (LLA) with the latter.

This confirms a StarBiz report that the plantation giant is in the midst of finding a solution to improve the terms of its LLA with Felda, which has distorted the calculation of FGV’s profit.
