MISC signs RM4bil contract with Petronas and Hyundai

PETALING JAYA: Energy shipping company MISC Bhd has entered into a novation agreement with its controlling shareholder, Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), and South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries Co Ltd (HHI) to build five liquefied natural gas carriers (LNGCs).

The contract is worth US$1.1bil (RM4bil).
