Astro eyes RM500mil revenue after tie-up with S. Korea firm


KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd expects to generate RM500mil in annual revenue by 2019 following its tie-up with GS Home Shopping Inc, a leading South Korean multimedia retailer based in Seoul.

Astro, Malaysia’s leading pay-TV provider, had entered into a 60:40 joint venture with GS Home to set up Go Shop, a new 24-hour shopping service on multiple platforms that was soft-launched last November.
