Pelaburan Mara banking dividend yields to support earnings

PETALING JAYA: Pelaburan Mara Bhd (PMB)’s projected earnings of RM30mil for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2014 will come from dividend yields from its diversified portfolio of assets that include fixed-income holdings, money-market instruments and private-equity investments, said a person familiar with the workings of the state-linked fund.

“Returns generated from PMB’s wide range of investments are more than enough to offset the fund’s purported losses stemming from a declining stock market,” the source told StarBiz.
