Taliworks takes over New North Klang Straits Bypass Expressway for RM265mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Taliworks Corporation Bhd has received a letter of award from the Government to take over the New North Klang Straits Bypass Expressway from Lebuhraya Shapadu Sdn Bhd for RM265mil.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Friday, Taliworks said the award was bagged via its 75% owned unit Jejak Melewar Sdn Bhd.

The award included the take over of the assets and concession rights to the expressway.

The group said it would make the appropriate announcement in due course.

Taliworks is involved in water and waste-related businesses, highway management as well as construction and engineering.
