KLCI up 11 points at the break


KUALA LUMPUR: The local stock market reversed its downward trend at midday on Wednesday with the FBM KLCI adding 11.34 points, or 0.68%, to 1,685.28, after having lost 23.37 points the day before.

This was in line with gains generally seen in the region after a shaky start to the week, with Japan’s Nikkei adding 0.5% to 16,838.65, Shanghai 0.99% to 3,051.46, Korea’s Kospi 0.1% to 1,906.1.
