On the external front, Reuters reported European shares fell in early trading on Thursday, losing ground for the fourth session in a row, as the slump in oil and iron ore prices knocked resource-related shares lower and fuelled worries over the pace of global growth.
At Bursa Malaysia, EA Techniques fell 16.5 sen to 48.5 sen and it was the most active counter with 53.96 million shares done.
