Kamaludin-Mazlin team launch takeover of Perduren

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Kamaluddin Abdullah (pic), the son former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, has teamed up with Datuk Mazlin Junid, the former president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Daya Materials Bhd, to take over property investment company Perduren (M) Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Perduren said it had yesterday received a notice of unconditional takeover offer from a group led by Kamaluddin and Mazlin at a cash offer price of RM1.60 per share.
