Tenaga deals uppercut to already battered market


Crude palm oil for third month delivery fell RM8 to RM2,164. PPB Group fell 32 sen to RM14.24, Genting Plantations 24 sen to RTM9.92, NSOP 20 sen to RM5.20 but heavyweight Sime Darby added 13 sen to RM9.64, KL Kepong 40 sen to Rm22.40 and FGV five sen to RM3.06.

Reuters reported China stocks soared to their highest level since mid-2011 on Thursday, led by financial and oil shares, as the market's rally on expectations of further economic stimulus measures showed no signs of losing steam.
