THE MAS Bill and the airline’s latest financial results did not come as much of a shock.
Yes, people knew that the Government would give nearly unlimited powers to the administrator to restructure the ailing airline, and true to form, the task ahead in turning around the airline was laid bare when MAS announced a third-quarter loss of RM576.1mil and a cumulative loss of RM1.32bil for the nine months of the year.
