Higher revenue, cost savings underpin Carlsberg’s Q3 earnings


KUALA LUMPUR: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd recorded a 46% increase in earnings to RM56.28mil in third quarter ended Sept 30, 2014 against RM38.44mil a year ago, driven mainly by higher revenue and cost savings from efficiency programmes. 

It said on Friday revenue rose 16.2% to RM409.3mil from RM352.12mil a year ago.  Earnings per share were 18.41 sen compared with 12.57 sen.
