At Bursa Malaysia, PetChem 40 sen to RM5.45, draggign the index by 5.59 points.

Muhibah fell 25 sen to RM2.56 and MAHB 37 sen to RM6.43.

KL Kepong fell 34 sen to RM22.84.

Dutch Lady fell 68 sen to RM46.62 and Nestle 40 sen to RM68.20.

Gainers were MYEG, up 16 sen to RM4.16 and Inari 10 sen to RM2.95.

BAT rose RM1.18 to RM69.68 and HLFG 30 sen to RM17.76.

PetGas rose 20 sen to RM21.66.

Nikkei 225 rose 0.56% to 17,490.83

Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose 0.28% to 24,087.38

Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index fell 0.27% to 2,478.82

Taiwan Stock Exchange Weighted Index rose 0.02% to 8,982.88

Korea Stock Exchange KOSPI Index fell 0.78% to 1,945.14

Straits Times Index STI rose 0.20% to 3,311.49

Crude oil fell 68 cents to US$73.53 and Brent seven cents to US$77.42.

Spot gold fell US$9.84 to US$1,152.71
