Johor the first to offer Euro 5 diesel

PETALING JAYA: Johor has become the first state in the country to offer the high quality Euro 5 diesel through selected BHPetrol stations priced at RM2.30 per litre.

The Government approved the sale of Euro 5 diesel in Johor for diesel-powered vehicles entering Singapore to comply with its new regulation for smoke opacity which took effect in July. “We are launching the higher standard diesel in Johor first, to aid lorry operators comply with the regulation implemented by Singapore,” said Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek.
