CIMB audit division gets Sirim certification


KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Group internal audit division (GIAD) is the first internal audit function of a Malaysian financial institution to be certified with the Sirim QAS International’s ISO 9001:2008.

“By seeking the ISO 9001:2008 certification, we have committed to an internationally recognised standard which will assure that we are really doing what we say we do. It also serves as a basis that our people maintain high standards which give confidence to our stakeholders, said CIMB group chief internal auditor Lim Tiang Siew in statement yesterday.
