Coal boost for TNB


TNB has proposed a final dividend pay out of 19 sen a share to be approved by shareholders. It had earlier paid out an interim dividend of 10 sen a share.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) posted a 47% jump in net profit to RM1.36bil in the last quarter ended Aug 31 on higher sales and forex gains to lift full-year earnings to a record RM6.47bil.

The stock surged 26 sen, or 2% to its all-time high fo RM13.36 yesterday ahead of the results which was released after the stock market closed.
