TM research arm wins Witsa award for LED connectivity tech

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia’s research arm has picked up the Chairman’s Award at the Witsa (World Information Technology Services Alliance) Global ICT Excellence Awards in Guadalajara, Mexico for its Aila technology, which uses LED to provide high-speed broadband connectivity.

The Chairman’s Award won by Telekom Research & Development Sdn Bhd (TM R&D) is presented to the most outstanding ICT and technology products that have benefited society.
