KUALA LUMPUR: The oil and gas (O&G) sector is expected to lead investments made in the country this year with the bulk of them in Pengerang, Johor, according to Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida).
Mida deputy chief executive officer Datuk Phang Ah Tong said Mida had approved 13 projects for this sector with investments valued at RM15.4bil from January to July that far surpassed the RM7.05bil in investments for the sector for the whole of last year.
