Prasarana buys RM1.6b rolling stock for two LRT lines

KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd is procuring RM1.6bil worth of rolling stock to meet the demand of its two existing light rail transit (LRT) lines that are undergoing an extension programme.

About RM1bil is allocated to procure 50 six-car trains and the remaining RM600mil is for 14 four-car trains.
