KUALA LUMPUR: The outlook for stockmarkets is still positive and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd is confident that the upward trajectory in prices can be sustained moving forward.

“We are very positive on equities, more so for the final quarter of this year. The key thing is that the fundamentals are there and thus the markets’ (uptrend) is sustainable,” Maybank IB chief executive officer John Chong said yesterday.
