Budget 2015: Stronger commitment on non-revenue water


THE Government has allocated RM112mil to address the problem of non-revenue water (NRW), expedite the construction of the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant costing RM3bil and formulate a National Water Blueprint.

In his speech, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says the Government will formulate a blueprint to ensure sustainable long-term water supply nationwide. He says these include the holistic management of rivers, and constructing and improving water-treatment plants.
