KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI opened firmer during early trade on Friday backed by gains in select blue chips, as investors' sentiments perked up after Bank Negara maintained the Overnight Policy Rate at 3.25%.
BIMB Research said in a note that the FBMKLCI posted a 1.54 point gain at 1,845.32 on Thursday's close on last minute local buying support following BNM’s decision to maintain the OPR at 3.25%.
