KLCI down on weaker China data


At 9.05am, the KLCI was down 11.6 points to 1,844.04. Turnover was 282.1 million shares valued at RM954.37mil. There were 166 gainers, 176 decliners and 214 counters unchanged.

BIMB Research said in a note that key regional indices ended mixed as investors were cautious as ahead of China economic data on Saturday where report shows China's industrial production growth slowed sharply in August, casting doubts on a fragile economic recovery.
