PetGas, BAT push KLCI lower


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its losses at midday on Monday weighed by PetGas and BAT, as investors stayed on the sidelines due to the slump in China's recent economic data.

At 12.30pm the KLCI fell 8.73 points to 1,846.91. Turnover was 1.04 billion shares valued at RM694.21mil. There were 168 gainers, 555 decliners and 269 counters unchanged.
