Genting Malaysia unit buys land in Bahamas for RM78.6m


KUALA LUMPUR: Genting Malaysia Bhd’s indirect 70%-owned unit, BB Entertainment Ltd (BBEL), is acquiring 6.6ha in the Bimini Islands, Bahamas from RAV Bahamas Ltd for US$24.6mil (RM78.6mil).

BBEL was building a 307-key hotel on the land adjacent to the Resorts World Bimini, Genting said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
