KDEB may seal water deals within three weeks

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB) is expected to sign sale and purchase agreements with three of the water concessionaires in Selangor within this week, reflecting huge strides in the development of the state water-restructuring saga ongoing since 2008.

The three water concessionaires that have agreed to the takeover by the Selangor state government are Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd and its 70% subsidiary, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), and Konsortium ABASS Sdn Bhd.
