Genting Malaysia, UMW drag KLCI into the red


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI fell in early Friday trade, in line with the cautious overnight close on Wall Street on rising worries about the Ukraine-Russia tension, with Genting Malaysia and UMW among the losers.

At 9.10am, the KLCI was down 2.66 points to 1,873.02. Turnover was 331.24 million shares valued at RM132.35mil. Declining stocks beat advancers 206 to 152 while 189 counters were unchanged.
