CIMB earnings slip; Tengku Zafrul appointed acting CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd's earnings fell 9.9% to RM949.94mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 from RM1.054bil due to the challenging conditions in Indonesia.

The banking group said on Friday that effective Sept 1,  Datuk Seri Nazir Razak takes over as the chairman of the group while Tengku Datuk Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has been appointed as acting CEO of CIMB Group.
