Boustead Naval Shipyard signs MoU with govt


KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government to develop local bumiputra entrepreneurs in the manufacturing and services sectors via the vendor development programme (VDP).

Under the agreement, the company will be the anchor company to manage the VDP and create a market relating to ship building and ship repair activities, supply and manufacturing of maritime defence related products, to develop local bumiputra vendors.
