Kedah sets 150,000-car target for hub Gurun to be auto hub of the north

GURUN: Kedah is targeting for Gurun to produce some 150,000 cars by 2018, making it the automotive hub of the north.

Kedah industry & Trade Investment, Consumers’ Affairs, and Cooperatives Committee chairman Datuk Dr Ku Abdul Rahman Ku Ismail said the output would come from Naza and Green Oranges, which was the franchise holder of the Haval brand owned by China’s Great Wall Motor.
