Cement prices go upwards


According to industry estimates, Lafarge's cement production capacity is about 12.95 million tonnes.

A MAJORITY of the country’s top cement manufacturers have raised their cement list prices by 7% to 9% on average so far this year, says industry sources.

Holcim (M) Sdn Bhd was the first to raise its cement list price in March followed by the country’s largest producer Lafarge Malayan Cement Bhd in May.
